Wide sand, good for swimming, walking and surfing. This is the everyday beach for anyone staying here: go in flip-flops, come back for lunch, head out again in the afternoon.

The canal linking Lagoa da Conceição to the sea cuts through Barra, and it is where the fishing boats moor. The bridge is the postcard shot and the way to the trails.
